My Journey

How It All Began

     I began detailing at 16 when I got my first car. As a social teenager who also played on many sports teams, I loved driving everybody around. It was always a great time filled with laughs and music played a little too loudly. Making sure everyone rode together built closer friendships and helped create lasting memories. Because I drove others around so often, it was important to me that my car stayed clean and in good condition, so I made a habit of performing a full detail on my car every few months. I would pull out all the seats and spend hours making sure everything was perfectly clean. At the time, I didn’t even know the word “detailing” or that it was a profession—I was simply developing a passion for cleaning vehicles and keeping them looking their best.

Growing a Passion

     Over time, it became a running joke in my family, with people playfully asking me to clean their cars or seriously offering to pay me $50 to do it. As I improved and got faster, regular full details became a natural habit. Eventually, I married my best friend and was nearing the end of college, working an unsteady job with variable income. I’ve always been entrepreneurial, constantly thinking of ways to support my family. One evening, I decided to market my detailing skills to help others in my community experience the joy of driving a freshly detailed car. I set up a simple website, booking software, and made a couple of Facebook posts about my services. Then I mostly forgot about it—until one morning on vacation, I got a notification that someone had booked a detail for when I returned. I was thrilled.

Taking the Leap

     During that first detail, I enjoyed every moment and imagined how much the customer would love driving their car again. I put all my practice into that job, and the customer was so happy they generously tipped me. Seeing their face light up and knowing they valued my work more than I expected was the spark I needed to commit to sharing my work regularly and growing my business. Slowly but surely, more customers booked appointments, and now I have the privilege of detailing vehicles full-time for wonderful people across Lynchburg.

     Today, Lynchburg Premier Detailing is more than just a side hustle — it’s my full-time passion and profession. After years of honing my skills and learning everything I could about auto care, I offer a range of professional services designed to keep your vehicle looking its absolute best.
